Eric Bolling and Greta Van Susteren's Twitter accounts were hacked Tuesday afternoon by what appears to be a Turkish, pro-Erdogan group calling themselves the "Turkish cyber army," who changed the journalists' background images and fired off several political tweets, including the following message which with an embedded video: Türk siber ordusu Ayyıldız Tim tarafından hacklendiniz! DM yazışmalarınızı aldık! Size Türkün gücünü göstereceğiz! ( You are hacked by the Turkish cyber army Ayyıldız Tim! We got your DM correspondence! We will show you the power of the Turk! ) The group sent President Trump a direct message (DM) from Van Susteren's account asking him to share a YouTube video of Erdoğan: Meanwhile, the group teased Bolling's DMs: Eric Bolling’s account has been hacked and they are now sharing his DM’s. DO NOT BETRAY THE TURKISH SOLDIER WHO SAVED YOU IN KOREA. LONG LIVE THE TURKISH NATION A TURKISH SOLDIER" Last week the Turkish hacking group cracked into the Twitter account of Borge Brende, president of the World Economic Forum in Geneva, tweeting a similar message: "You are hacked by the Turkish cyber army Ayyıldız Tim! We have your DM correspondence. We will show you our power. " The latest message from Brende seems to have been posted on January 10th and was a reply to Fredrik Græsvik, who pointed out that Donald Trump is likely to come to Davos and two weeks. "We are well prepared," wrote Brende. The next message is written 10:47, Norwegian time Sunday, January 1, and is clearly posted by the hackers. Two hours later, Brende obviously has not yet received control, because the hackers continue to send messages to Brende's 167,000 followers. Among the messages that follow, there are several that apparently point to other Twitter accounts hacked by the group, including India's top diplomat to the United Nations and an editor in the mixed Der Spiegel.ue to send messages to Brende's 167,000 followers. The rest of the messages appear to be accusations against Europe, and Turkish propaganda videos, featuring pictures of the country's modern country father, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, presented with pompous music. -Dagens Naeringsliv (translated) The group also tweeted a YouTube video from Bolling's account of a news report from Sunday detailing a hack of India's envoy to the UN: The "Turkish Cyber Army"'s Twitter and Facebook accounts read: Injustice, Oppression and War with all our might.. In 2015, the group hacked dozens of business and non-profit websites in Canada's Saguenay region, with about 40 sites carrying the message "Hacked by EvLat" and "Freedom for all Muslims." The hacks of Van Susteren and Bolling come just over four months after Bolling's 19-year-old son, Eric Chase Bolling, overdosed on a combination of cocaine, marijuana and opioids. Bolling was fired from Fox News in Sept. 2017 after allegations of sexual misconduct
